Sql.Net offers both open source GPL and commercial licenses. If you are planning to use Sql.Net in a closed source application, you are required to pruchase a commericial license. More information on licensing can be found on the Licensing page.

The cost of a commercial license is 70$.

The full license agreement is available here, in short it allows you to:

1. Redistribute Sql.Net in compiled form.
2. Use or modify Sql.Net source code.
3. Use future versions with no additional charge.
